The experience at my studio is luxurious. The images I create are simple yet polished. They should be a reflection of who you are. If you can put together a mood board of styles of portrait photography and styling that you love, I can use that to fine tune your session.  Present your board when you contact me to ensure our styles align.  A contract + non-refundable retainer is required to secure my time and a hair+makeup artist. I then start to source materials and guide you to choose the correct outfits to achieve your look. 

if you want to be surprised, then you truly have to be open to my ideas. i can find inspiration anywhere, but only you have the power to embrace those ideas. it is a collaborative process. we both bring something unique to the session. I can make it easy for you to look and feel incredible if you are willing to relinquish control.

my clients are all welcome to use outfits from my client closet.  if you are daring, sometimes I have new concepts i'm inspired to try at the studio. just let me know how comfortable you are in experimenting with a concept at the end of our session and I'll source the goods.

you do not have to spend a fortune on outfits. my client closet is filled with items from $5-$600.  After your retainer is paid and your mood board sent, i can guide you to choose the best outfits to align with your vision. Curation is the key to a concept. Let me guide you and be your stylist. 

and there is always the option to go implied nude, rent your outfit (rent the runway), etc.

if you're ok with using what i have, or you already have your outfits, then reach out at least 2 weeks in advance so that I can book a great hair + makeup artist and design your set. I do not book any last minute work that rushes the process.

I would prefer to start the process at least 5 weeks in advance to allow for planning and sourcing of materials.

if you are booking a maternity session, every body is different. you should aim to have a visible bump, but still be comfortable to pose for 1.5 hours + hair + makeup for 1.5 hours. the sweet spot is to have your session around the 6-7.5 month of pregnancy.

THe images I choose reflect my brand. Every session I treat with passion and to push boundaries.  I use images that show my potential and communicate my vision to others. the  voucher is a great way to choose which additional images you would like edited to frame in your home. I also respect the need for privacy and open to minor compromises with the model release. If you opt for the voucher discount, a model release will be required. 

The editing style is a realistic reflection of who you are. I do not believe in heavy body modification or fantasy edits. I photograph those that love themselves and what they've achieved.

I work with the best in the industry. They can get you that polished "no makeup" makeup look. If you have allergies, or are against makeup, i can source the right professional to provide that finished look using tools you're comfortable with.  If you have specific concerns (artists that can work with certain features, hair or skintones) please communicate what you need and I'll ensure the artist can serve your needs. the makeup/hair artist is an extension of my brand and i only work with those that can deliver a high quality of work to ehance your experience. if you have specific requirements, booking earlier ensures the ability to find the right artist for your needs. if you have an artist you trust, i am open to adding new talent to my roster.

once your oufits come in (ensure you have them arrive at least 2 weeks prior to session so you have the right size/fit), send me photos of you in them taken during daylight hours so i can see the true colour, fit, flow and opacity of fabric.

With concrete options available, WE SET UP A 20-min VIDEO CALL TO GO OVER THE following DETAILS: round 2 of feedback for outfits and decision to supplement with client closet if you can't find what you want. I cannot action with hypotheticals.

2 weeks prior, YOU WILL RECEIVE tips on preparation, how to get to studio and parking advice.

week of the session, final outfits are decided upon so that I can have the set prepared for your shoot. backdrops are chosen based on your outfits. Lighting is chosen based on your moodboard + outfits + inspiration.  If a second video chat is required, we schedule that.

~7 business days later you will receive my choice edited images of our 3 concepts uploaded to an online gallery. these can be immediately downloaded and used.

SHARE YOUR EDITED IMAGES AND TAG ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A GIFTED 16X24" PRINT OF YOUR FAVOURITE IMAGE. THIS WILL BE SENT TO YOUR HOME.

Within 4 weeks (see contract for details) you will receive unretouched images to choose from for additional edits.

7 business days after you select your additional images to be retouched, they will be added to your online gallery.

Contract lists out the details. You will receive both edited and unedited files for your usage.  These will be unwatermarked and in high-resolution. the images I have chosen for my portfolio will be sent out immediately after the conclusion of our session for retouching. during this process, the artist will remove unwanted temporary blemishes, do minor bodywork (no heavy body modification to shed 20 lbs will be done), remove lighting equipment and clean up the backdrop. If you have specific concerns with retouching, please let me know during the booking process to ensure the level of work you hope to see in the finished product is in line with what i deliver. i believe every body should be celebrated. you should be proud of what you've achieved. societal expectations should not dictate what is considered to be beautiful. 

please know that i will not contribute to unhealthy and unrealistic expectations the world has put on women.  we should be celebrated as we are.

My style is modern and minimalist. I love starting with a moodboard if you have something unique in mind. I might have the props in the studio, or I also have contacts with fantastic local artists that we can include to bring your vision to life. Some concepts may require a creative fee, so please contact me for details.  Some sets may require months to setup and aquire the items, so please allow for lead time.
